HOW MUCH ARE STRETCH TENTS TO HIRE?

Our stretch tents are made from the world's highest quality fabric and sizes/prices are here - generous discounts are available depending on tent sizes/accessories booked.

DO YOU PROVIDE AN EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICE?

Not currently, we are a hire business but we will do our very best to answer any questions you have and to guide you in the right direction.

CAN I BUY A STRETCH TENT IN A SPECIFIC SIZE AND COLOUR?

Yes you can! Our hire stock is CHINO but for purchases, we can supply a range of different colours and sizes to meet most requirements (given enough lead time).

WHAT KIND OF EVENTS ARE STRETCH TENTS SUITABLE FOR?

In our view, stretch tents are suitable for any kind of event but here are some examples:

WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?

If the weather forecast predicts a gloriously sunny day, you could have any number of sides up to make the most of the sun, and the view, whilst providing you with shade. If the forecast is not so favourable, we will bring down the sides of the tent and we can provide you with heaters to keep you and your guests nice and warm. We also have clear sides walls with zipped doorway access so you can stay cosy whilst enjoying the view.

 

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF A STRETCH TENT OVER A MARQUEE?

The versatile nature and beauty of these structures always creates buzz and excitement, leaving a lasting impression on your guests. Marquees require a flat symmetrical space unlike stretch tents which are adaptive and perfect for complicated terrain. They can be wrapped around/over trees or rocks, cover swimming pools, serve as an extension to your property and even be erected over an area that has a slope.

 

WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY FOR MY BOOKING?

When you choose to go ahead, 50% deposit is due and the balance is due 2 weeks before set up.

 

DO I NEED TO ADVISE YOU WHERE ALL THE UNDERGROUND AND OVERGROUND SERVICES ARE SITUATED? 

Yes. Before delivery/installation, the client must provide TENT PEG EVENTS with written confirmation that there are no underground services on the site where the tent is to be erected, or with an accurate plan showing the location of any underground services. If the client does not own the site, then it is their responsibility to obtain this written confirmation from the site owner. If there is any doubt as to where services are, TENT PEG EVENTS will undertake a CAT scan in order to minimise the risk of Injury from underground services. As CAT scans are not guaranteed to locate all services, TENT PEG EVENTS shall not be liable for any damage caused to any undetected Underground Services.

 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? 

Should the client wish to terminate the contract then the following rates will be charged to the client by TENT PEG EVENTS:

100% of the hire price for notice less than 14 days prior to the hire period

50% of the hire price for notice between 14 and 28 days prior to the hire period

25% of the hire price for notice more than 28 days prior to the hire period

HOW LONG IS A STANDARD RENTAL? 

For the usual Saturday booking, we aim to set up the tent on the Thursday or Friday prior and set down the tent on the following Monday (though this may vary). If a longer period is required, further charges may apply.

DO THE TENTS CONFORM TO UK FIRE REGULATIONS?

Yes and fire certificates can be provided upon request.

 

ARE TENT PEG EVENTS INSURED?

Yes, we have public liability to £5m and employers liability to £10m - documents are available upon request.
